About the Inline Skating Resource Center

The Inline Skating Resource Center (ISRC) is the website originally operated by the International Inline Skating Association.

The International Inline Skating Association (IISA) was founded in 1991 by a group of manufacturers, retailers, and skaters who chose to be proactive about enhancing the future of the sport of inline skating. For 14 years the IISA developed educational programs, promoted safe skating, and protected and expanded access to public skate ways across the country. Areas of emphasis of the IISA included the Instructor Certification Program, the National Skate Patrol, the Gear Up! Program, and the Government Relations Program.

On December 20, 2004 the IISA disbanded. At that time, ownership of this website was transferred to Zephyr Inline Skate Tours, which has resolved to continue the website as a resource for the inline skating community.

Please contact us with any questions about this website.
