Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, PA

The City of Brotherly Love earns points for being a skate-friendly city and Fairmount Park is where the inline action can be found. Skaters can start at West River Drive, which is closed to traffic on weekend mornings from April through November, and continue the loop as they skate down Kelly Drive. The smooth, paved surface is ideal for beginning skaters and speed enthusiasts, and the eight-mile trip also offers views of the picturesque Schuykill River.

Free stopping clinics and skate maps provided by the National Skate Patrol.

Also, check out the Landskaters Skate Club website to see what's happening in Philly.
