Rock Creek Park, Washington DC

A haven for skaters in the nation's capital, there are two trails to choose from at Rock Creek Park.  Beach Drive is closed to traffic on weekends for skaters to take the two mile jaunt. Those in the mood for a longer ride can enjoy the 10 mile Capital Crescent Trail, which starts in Georgetown, runs parallel to the Potomac River and continues to Bethesda, Maryland.

Free stopping clinics are provided by the National Skate Patrol.  To find local skaters, join the Washington Area Roadskaters skate club.
